Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Marketplace Support Associate to join our dynamic e-commerce support team. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer and seller support for Amazon and Shopify marketplaces, ensuring smooth operations, issue resolution, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, proactive, and passionate about helping sellers optimize their online business. This is a fully remote role based in Germany, offering the flexibility to work from home while being part of a collaborative, global team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely and effective support to sellers and customers on Amazon and Shopify marketplaces.
Respond to inquiries via email, chat, and ticketing systems while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Troubleshoot account, listing, payment, and fulfillment issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
Monitor marketplace performance metrics and assist sellers in improving their account health.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical or operational challenges.
Document support interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Stay updated with marketplace policies, procedures, and platform updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong proficiency in German (native/fluent) and English (professional working level).
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify Admin dashboards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
Basic understanding of e-commerce operations, order management, and digital marketplaces.
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce support, marketplace operations, or customer service.
Experience working remotely or in virtual teams is a plus.
Previous experience with Amazon and Shopify platforms is highly preferred.
Working Hours
Full-time position with flexible remote working hours.
Availability during Germanys standard business hours (CET) is required.
Occasional overtime may be needed during peak seasons or high-volume periods.
