Title: Data Analyst
The Opportunity
As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you will dive into structured and unstructured data to turn it into meaningful insights that support investigative case work. Your work will help detect anomalies, suspicious behavior, and other information critical to national security investigations.
How You’ll Contribute
- Analyze ad‑tech telemetry data to uncover trends and connections.
- Develop investigative leads by linking data patterns to online activity.
- Present clear, concise reports and briefings to clients.
- Validate analytical processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret large datasets.
You Have
- 1+ years of experience using analytical tools such as Splunk.
- Knowledge of major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS).
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Associate’s degree and 6+ years of experience in data analytics, modeling, web technologies, network security, or telecommunications; or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience; or 8+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
Nice If You Have
- Experience supporting investigative cases or digital forensics.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with reverse engineering or geospatial analysis.
- Collaborative teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Clearance
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, experience, and organizational requirements. The posted information will close within 90 days from the posting date.
