Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on
SAP Functional Solution Architect
to lead the design and delivery of integrated SAP solutions supporting our business objectives. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring SAP solutions align with enterprise goals and industry best practices. It also involves supporting and leading SAP initiatives. This position is ideal for a seasoned SAP professional ready to take on broader responsibilities in project leadership, team coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves working closely with senior SAP leadership and business stakeholders to ensure SAP systems effectively support operations and growth. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Lead functional design of SAP solutions across modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, and other interfacing applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including process flows, specs, and configuration guides. Provide functional leadership during SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and enterprise standards. Work with technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and data flow. Support testing, training, change management, and user adoption. Stay updated on SAP innovations (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP) and industry trends, assessing their relevance and recommending improvements. Translate complex business requirements into SAP designs aligned with enterprise architecture. Lead business process workshops to identify gaps and solutions. Oversee SAP configuration, custom development, and data migration activities. Define and enforce SAP standards, templates, and documentation practices. Assist in developing business cases and ROI analyses for SAP projects. Lead design reviews and ensure quality across SAP deliverables. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on SAP capabilities and roadmaps. Identify opportunities to optimize SAP processes and configurations. Participate in vendor evaluations, RFPs, and third-party assessments. Support SAP leadership in managing teams and external consultants. Monitor system performance and coordinate issue resolution. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data standards. Contribute to SAP strategic initiatives and roadmaps. Job Qualifications: 10+ years of SAP functional experience, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations. BA/BS degree required. Strong knowledge of SAP modules and business processes. Experience with ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori. Ability to lead workshops and influence decisions. Experience in regulated industries preferred. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies. Understanding of SAP integration tools like CPI, PI/PO. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with SAP systems, database applications, and report writing. Production support and project management experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple projects and interact at all organizational levels. Note:
