We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 19,000+ students across 49schools.
Our communities include: Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek. Our Mission: Mat-Su Borough School District prepares all students for success.
Position Description: To provide therapeutic services to students identified as speech/communication impaired in order for them to benefit from Special Education Services or for them to progress adequately in the general education curriculum. To promote positive public relations and meet compliance standards advocated through the Student Support Services Department. Salary: $63,875 – $88,646 starting wage, depending on verification of service and education. MSBSD has a competitive Salary Schedule with an accelerated step advancement. Applicants can bring a maximum of 6years’ experience for FY26. We currently pay an additional $3,000 bonus PER YEAR for CCCs and provide$3,000 relocation bonus. Leave: Each Certified Teacher/Related Service Provider receives 4 paid personal leave days at the beginning of the year and accrues 1.33 sick leave days each month of employment. Retirement: MSBSD is a member of the State of Alaska Teachers Retirement System.
