Job Summary
The Director of the PICU & Rapid Response Team oversees daily operations, clinical performance, staff development, and patient safety across two high-acuity pediatric service lines. This leader works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and hospital executives to ensure exceptional critical care, rapid intervention readiness, and family-centered clinical excellence.
Qualifications
Master’s degree required (Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration, or related field)
At least one degree must be in Nursing
3–5 years of progressive experience (clinical + leadership)
Active RN license in the state of Michigan
Strong leadership abilities and experience in pediatric or critical care environments
Excellent communication, team-building, and strategic leadership skills
