3 × 12-hour Nights (19:00 – 07:00)
Pay Rate:
$72/hr base | $80/hr OT, Call-Back, Holiday
Weekly Gross (36 hrs):
~$2,592 + full tax-free stipends
Position:
1 opening
Live and work in the Florida Keys this winter/spring – turquoise water, daily sunsets, and no state income tax. Lower Keys Medical Center is the only full-service acute care hospital in the Keys and needs a strong night-shift ICU nurse to join the team.
Unit & Role Highlights
Small, high-acuity 10-bed ICU (medical/surgical/cardiac)
Common diagnoses: sepsis, respiratory failure, post-op, cardiac events, stroke
Float to ED or Med-Surg as needed
EMR: Meditech
Scrubs: any color
Requirements
Minimum 2 years recent adult ICU experience
Active Florida or Compact RN license at submission
BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (all AHA)
Current AHCA clearinghouse background packet (mandatory for all Florida contracts)
Housing must be secured within 50 miles of facility and address provided before offer is extended
Scheduling
Every-other-weekend required
Holiday coverage expected (MLK, Presidents’ Day)
No on-call
No interview – compliant submissions are presented immediately
