About the Practice Primary Care Animal Hospital is looking to expand our team! We are a privately owned AAHA Accredited multi-doctor hospital located in Long Beach, CA. We are a busy well-established practice and have been in the community for over 13 years under original ownership.
Services
Our hospital not only offers routine general practice services, but we also offer acupuncture and specialty surgeries, including ortho and advanced dental restorations!
We have an endoscope, ultrasound, in-house urine sediment reader, both cold-laser therapy and cutting laser in addition to normal in-house lab equipment.
We have a well-trained and supportive team, including 10 RVT’s, to help our doctor’s days run smoothly.
Location Want to live in Long Beach? According to the city website “Long Beach is a waterfront playground located right in the heart of Southern California.” It is well known as a tourist area offering 100s of dining options and live events. From Belmont shore to Shoreline Village, to Bixby Knolls, there is something for everyone. We also have great schools and offer multiple outdoor play areas for our community, including El Dorado Park and Nature preserve. Oh, and don’t forget, the Long Beach Aquarium and Rainbow Harbor Marina right downtown.

Schedule Our hospital is open until 10 pm Mon-Fri and 6 pm on the weekends, but we do not see a lot of emergencies. We are open later to help support our regular client’s pets whose schedules do not allow them to come in during the daytime. Our doctors do not have any after-hours requirements as we refer to local emergency hospitals for continued care. We have a strong leadership team, and we have regular meetings to help with communication in the hospital.
