Criminal Defense Attorney for the Indigent: Both entry level and experienced attorneys needed for the West Palm Beach office of The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 4th District --"RC4." RC4 is a state agency which provides criminal defense representation to the indigent accused in cases in which the public defender’s office has withdrawn due to a legal conflict of interest. RC4 is seeking candidates with a commitment to an assertive, client-centered representation model and with an orientation to proactive litigation and trying cases to juries. Trial advocacy coursework and prior public defender/indigent defense office internships and terms are preferred. Additionally, candidates should possess an ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Entry level salary is $70,000; salary TBD for experienced attorneys commensurate with experience and with the agency's existing pay structure.
