Physician – Epileptologist (Open Rank / Track Faculty)

Position Overview
The Division of Epilepsy seeks a board-certified or board-eligible epileptologist with expertise in acute, chronic and tertiary care of epilepsy patients, EEG interpretation, electrocorticography, and evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including stereo EEG, intra and extraoperative functional brain mapping and neurostimulation. Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outpatient epilepsy clinic services. Read EEG/ICU and EMU service. Teach medical students, residents, fellows and other trainees in clinical neurology and epileptology.
Requirements
MD or DO equivalent degree. Board-eligible or certified in Neurology and Epilepsy. Expertise in acute, chronic and tertiary care of epilepsy patients, EEG interpretation, electrocorticography, and evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including stereo EEG, intra and extraoperative functional brain mapping and neurostimulation, both in implantable devices and in managing the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
