Primary Care Physician – Part-Time or Full-Time
Join Community Health Programs, Inc. as a Primary Care Physician in either a part‑time or full‑time capacity. The position offers a salary range of $195,000–$225,500 per year, prorated based on hours, in a rural, federally designated medically underserved area.
About the Organization Community Health Programs (CHP) is a nonprofit network of health centers providing comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages. Position Requirements Physician Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in the practice call schedule
Maintain board certification and other required certifications (BLS, PALS)
Maintain timely electronic health record entries and patient charges
Support CHP’s mission, vision, and values
Act as a community ambassador for CHP
Abide by all human resources and professional behavior policies
Participate in practice and organizational meetings and events positively and collaboratively
Provide constructive guidance and feedback to colleagues
Participate in the peer review program and supervise colleagues as needed
Competencies
Subject Matter Expert – keep knowledge current, respect HIPAA regulations, develop innovative approaches
Business Acumen – understand business implications, align work with strategic goals, set and achieve challenging goals
Teamwork – balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity, give and welcome feedback, build positive team spirit
Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills – professional and ethical conduct, respond to requests, take initiative, work well under pressure
Organizational Skills – follow policies, complete administrative tasks on time, excellent time‑management
Verbal and Written Communication – prepare and present reports orally or in writing as required
Essential Skills and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following qualifications.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited medical school
Completed an accredited residency
Licensed through the USMLE and holding an active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license
Board certification in a specialty, or obtaining such within one year of hire
Experience
Prefer previous practice experience of 3 or more years
Prefer bilingual in English and Spanish
