Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon for our team in Wichita, Kansas. Position Highlights

Employed opportunity with Ascension Via Christi Medical Group High-volume cardiac and thoracic service line with strong referral network Collaborative environment with excellent support staff and experienced OR teams Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive surgical care for cardiac and thoracic patients. Participate in call rotation with other cardiothoracic surgeons. Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and other specialists to provide integrated care. Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by the Local Credentialing Office required. Education
