Opportunity Director of Sales Operations and Analytics provides strategic leadership over all field facing commercial operational functions, including sales planning, targeting, data analytics, incentive compensation, field reporting and performance management. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, finance, and compliance to ensure the commercial organization is equipped with resources needed to meet or achieve expectations. This director is both strategic partner and hands on operator who can build the Hugel US sales infrastructure, while working with vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales strategy, planning and forecasting
Lead development of annual and quarterly sales plans, in partnership with finance, marketing and compliance
Drive territory alignment and sizing to maximize business opportunities
Incentive Compensation
Design, implement and manage comp plans including IC and contests
Lead cross functional IC governance
Commercial Operations
Build and oversee sales system infrastructure (CRM processes, data quality, reporting cadence)
Support field on-boarding and adoption of tools
Identify continuous improvement opportunities as the team scales over time
Data and Metrics
Determine KPIs for field force, and tools to track
Ensure team has customer level sales to measure adoption and loyalty
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field
10 years in sales ops or related role
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech is preferred
Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g. Veeva, Salesforce) and data/ business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent communication skills and collaboration across functions
