Position Overview
The Senior Director of Global Manufacturing will lead the strategic and operational direction of worldwide manufacturing activities for electronic devices. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality production, cost efficiency, and scalability across multiple global sites while driving continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee end-to-end production operations across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Optimize supply chain and manufacturing footprint to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and automation to enhance productivity.
Lead cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and ramp-up activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Manage global manufacturing budgets and performance metrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership within the electronic device industry.
Proven track record of managing global operations and large-scale production environments.
Expertise in Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and advanced production technologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
