Board Eligible or Board Certified Neonatologist to join the collaborative NICU team at
Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital , a
70-bed Level IV NICU
attached to Tacoma General Hospital with approximately
4,000 annual deliveries .
Key Responsibilities
High‑Impact Work: Be part of a high‑acuity NICU where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of newborns and their families.
Clinical Innovation: Participate in the development of POCUS (point‑of‑care ultrasound) and NIRS (near‑infrared spectroscopy) programs, expanding bedside diagnostic and monitoring capabilities.
Advanced Therapies: Provide care using established HFJV (high‑frequency jet ventilation) and HFOV (high‑frequency oscillatory ventilation) with opportunities to engage in Vermont Oxford Network (VON) quality initiatives and Tiny Baby Collaborative projects.
Specialized Collaboration: Support a heart center with a growing cardiothoracic surgery program and work directly with an exceptional team of medical and surgical subspecialists, and an exceptional PICU team supporting ECMO and postoperative neonatal cardiac patients.
Work‑Life Balance: Enjoy 24‑hour in‑house shifts that allow for extended time off between rotations—perfect for recharging or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Collaborate with PNPs caring for newborns in the birthing center.
