platform is designed to deliver a genetically modified neuroprotective factor to slow the progression of this chronic retinal disease.
The
Head of Market Access and Trade
is responsible for overseeing and executing Neurotech's market access and trade strategy. This includes developing and leading initiatives related to pricing and reimbursement, payer marketing and account management, reimbursement operations, contracting, and product distribution.
Job Requirements
Lead Neurotech's Market Access function, including individual roles and teams, processes, systems and tools necessary for successful product access.
Develop and lead all market access initiatives required for successful commercialization of ENCELTO.
Develop pricing and distribution strategies to maximize the value of ENCELTO and achieve optimal patient access.
Lead a high‑performing, patient‑centric account management team dedicated to interfacing with stakeholders responsible for distribution and coverage.
Lead the implementation of market access plans for ENCELTO based on the value proposition, including go‑to‑market strategies, tactical plans and account plans.
Lead managed care marketing and contracting strategy for payer and distribution channels.
Develop and implement strategies associated with shaping and influencing commercial payers and government payment policies.
Effectively manage external vendor/partner relationships, including hub services to ensure high‑quality services.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience within biotech/pharmaceuticals space, cell and gene therapy and/or ophthalmology experience a plus.
5+ years of direct experience leading teams (preferably access teams) in the biotech space.
5+ years of direct experience with US payers and specialty distribution channels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven expert in payer account management, contracting, and negotiation.
Launch experience for rare indications and ophthalmology experience preferred.
Established relationships within major US payer organizations.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership ability building high‑performing teams.
Strong ability to engage and motivate people and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions.
