Skills and Requirements

Strong programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python

Experience in system software and/or low‑level firmware validation

Familiarity with compliance frameworks like Arm System Ready, SBSA is an advantage

Solid knowledge of software quality, ARM architecture, Linux, and RTOS programming

Deep understanding of test methodology and the software development cycle

Demonstrated experience in test automation development, source code management, continuous integration, script programming, and test framework development

Outstanding problem‑solving abilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to optimize and effectively manage time

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience

Or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience

Or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Opportunities and Responsibilities

Gather requirements and develop effective test strategies

Plan and develop new test contents, processes and frameworks to execute on the strategy

Interface with cross‑functional teams to review test plans, collect information for test development and automation

Debug test failures, collaborating to isolate and resolve issues

Work with technology teams to leverage common test methods and frameworks

Study OEM experience and requirements to enhance test solutions across products

Deliver high‑quality output on assigned tasks with some supervision

Use verbal and written communication skills to convey routine information to knowledgeable colleagues

Exercise creativity in troubleshooting technical challenges and navigating novel circumstances

Conduct limited data analysis as needed

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$111,300.00 - $166,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
