The Gist… We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to support a finance transformation engagement for a client within the defense industry. In this role you will lead transformative initiatives by partnering with senior stakeholders to modernize financial processes through innovative technology solutions. What Your Day Might Include… Lead data-driven transformative initiatives by partnering with senior stakeholders to modernize financial processes Oversee data analysis teams in support of Defense clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable analytical solutions Translate strategic goals into actionable data plans, guiding teams through execution while maintaining focus on measurable outcomes Collaborate with technology practitioners to drive the creation of scalable AI prototypes, serving in a technical leadership role Mentor junior analysts and foster innovation while ensuring governance and quality standards in data analysis practices Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Collaborate with business teams to provide actionable recommendations based on data insights. Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations in all data-related activities. Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain data integrity and quality. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or field directly related to the position; OR active certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, PMP, ITIL) Seven (7) years of experience with Federal financial management, including three (3) years of Federal accounting experience Experience in product management or solution ownership for data-driven financial tools Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and team leadership capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience with DoD Advana and federal financial compliance frameworks preferred Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Nice to have... Experience with DoD Advana and federal financial compliance frameworks Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and OneStream, with an understanding of their role in federal financial management. Advanced degree in business or technology.
