Practice / Schedule Details:
Procedures begin at 7:30am - provider must be onsite by 7:00am
1-2 CRNAs needed
Ambulatory Surgery Center - no high-acuity hospital cases
Cases: General surgery, hernias, eyes, ears, sinus, general ortho, colonoscopies
No urologyOccasional OT (time + half after 40 hrs/week or 8 hrs/day)
Housing: Surgery center physicians own a 3-bedroom duplex onsite; housing or travel provided
Skills / Block Requirements:
Comfortable working independently
Proficient with nerve blocks
Common blocks performed:
Interscalene (primary)
Supraclavicular, Infraclavicular, Axillary (occasional)
Adductor Canal, Genicular, PENG, Popliteal
TAP blocks (occasional)
Ability to place interscalene and adductor canal catheters
Volume:
2,800 cases annually (daily varies)
Licensing:
Active Alaska CRNA license required OR willing to license
