Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Manage a panel of patients, addressing clinical needs and coordinating care
- Respond to nurse calls regarding patient care and management
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call rotation, primarily answering questions by phone or virtually
- Perform infrequent in-person hospital consults as needed (one or two per year)
- Complete clinical documentation using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- Must have recent experience in hematology and oncology
- Board certification in Medical Oncology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Outpatient setting; 99.9 percent of cases are outpatient
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
