A clinically integrated network is actively seeking a licensed Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their growing team in New Jersey.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday standard business hours
- Call: No call or weekends
- Setting: Outpatient imaging center or hospital
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interpret various breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized breast imaging techniques
- Meet with patients to discuss their imaging results, explain any findings, and answer questions
- Perform or supervise minimally invasive procedures, such as breast biopsies
- Ensure quality and accuracy of breast imaging procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging services within their department or institution
- Collaborate with Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions or breast cancer
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted NJ medical license
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Radiology Residency and fellowship in Breast Imaging
- Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
