In this position, you will have a direct purchasing role within the FCSD purchasing organization. You will lead commercial negotiations, support critical supply issues, manage material cost for assigned suppliers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process and cost improvement opportunities, support supplier management strategies, and ensure compliance with our standards.
Responsibilities
Procurement
Identify cost reduction opportunities
Mitigate supplier cost uplift requests
Drive service supply improvements
Ensure superior delivery performance from supply base
Support adherence of supplier quality process requirements
Execute timely new part sourcing
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies
Lead supplier management and engagement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance to align process improvements with company objectives.
Linkage with other functional areas to leverage spend and optimize supplier management.
Performance Monitoring
Analyze supplier performance and cost data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for further process and cost optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of purchasing experience
Track record of managing complex commodities and delivering optimized cost solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
