role at
Nature's Bakery . Pay: Starting at $24 per hour plus a shift differential of $1.25 per hour for 2nd + 3rd shift. Shift Available: 3rd shift @ 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you are an essential team member responsible for monitoring all quality assurance and food safety activities and carrying out corrections for improving quality departmental functions. You will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Responsibilities
Provide support to the Quality Assurance Management team. Achieve quality assurance operational objectives. Perform tests at specified stages in the production process; test products for temperature, defects, code dates, etc., record results, review records and reports for accuracy and completion. Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Complete special projects assigned. Conduct quality analysis of incoming dry goods for production; verify specifications before startup and throughout production processes. Tackle quality issues with production and other teams. Document key metrics for data analysis; maintain calibration and logs of all laboratory instruments. General analysis and sampling of production samples; collect retention samples. Qualifications
Basic understanding of quality assurance standards and protocols. Food safety & documentation experience. Previous experience in a similar role, with specific types of testing (manual, automated, performance) relevant to the industry. Familiarity with the 4 points of QA. Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Food/Beverage manufacturing experience is a bonus. Benefits
