Your Impact
Operate forklifts with precision to move materials, pallets, and equipment.
Load/unload trailers and storage locations; double-check load security and condition.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace every shift.
Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist before operating equipment.
Adhere to department SOPs and other required procedures.
Connect and disconnect rail cars daily—regardless of weather conditions.
Learn to operate a turret truck for high-bay operations.
Support space allocation and utilization; transfer inventory as needed.
Assist with additional tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend English; communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Basic math skills.
Proven forklift operating experience.
Experience preparing inventory and taking part in monthly and year-end raw material physical inventories.
High attention to detail and safety mindset.
High school diploma or GED.
Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
