Assistant Nurse Manager, Med/Surg, Nights – Baptist Nassau
Join Baptist Health as an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) on our Med/Surg unit at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. This full‑time night shift position requires a team‑focused RN capable of managing a 6:1 patient care ratio and providing advanced adult and geriatric care.
Responsibilities
Assist the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations.
Work closely with direct care personnel to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
Facilitate patient throughput and lead implementation of changes.
Support and coach unit personnel in professional development.
Take direct patient care assignments as needed.
Staff and schedule unit personnel.
Qualifications
Education Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Education Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
3–5 years of Medical Surgical Nursing.
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Licensed Registered Nurse
