Location: Ascension Via Christi St Francis – 929 North St Francis, Wichita, KS 67214. Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary.

Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.

Operate various industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.

Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.

Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.

Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
