Utility Worker
HB Staffing is seeking a Utility Worker to join a growing and dynamic team.

Carlsbad, CA
Pay:
$31/hour
Type:
Full-time; Contract
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Experience:
Underground utility work preferred; training available.
Education:
High School Diploma.
Job Description:
Perform digging and excavation work for underground utility repairs.
Repair leaks on 6"–16" water lines and assist with general plumbing/line fixes.
Use tools such as pipe wrenches, circular saws, dig bars, and shovels.
Work outdoors in various street and sidewalk environments.
Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/digging for extended periods.
Drive city vehicles occasionally as needed.
Follow safety procedures and use provided PPE at all times.
Position Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding labor for full shifts.
Valid California driver’s license.
Ability to operate basic utility and construction tools.
Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
