A health system is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location
The facility is located in Eastern North Carolina. About the Clinician's Workday
This outpatient-only role follows a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total). While not part of the regular weekend rotation, the provider may occasionally be asked to cover weekend shifts based on clinical needs. Shift hours are Sunday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The provider must see patients of all ages and there is no call. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Common procedures include foreign body removal, suturing, I&Ds, and casting/DME fitting. Average patient volume is 35-40 per day.
