Job Title: Homebound Teacher (Part-Time)

Reports To: Executive Director of Student Services

Hours: Up to 10 hours/week outside of normal school hours

Compensation: Certified teacher rate of $32/hour

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time homebound teacher to provide individualized educational support to students who are unable to attend school. This position involves delivering instruction to students placed on homebound support for medical or disciplinary reasons, ensuring their continued academic progress and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one or small group instruction to homebound students based on their individualized academic needs.
• Develop and deliver engaging daily lesson plans across various subject areas, aligned with district curriculum and student ability levels.
• Create, implement, and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to track student goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records for all instructional sessions.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, challenges, and successes.
• Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and assign grades in accordance with district policies.
