About the Role As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide hands-on patient care, implement treatment plans, and support patients throughout their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual therapy techniques. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and proper movement strategies. Document patient progress accurately and update therapy records in compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor patient performance and report feedback to the supervising physical therapist. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment. Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active California PTA license required. BCS certified Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and encourage patients. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient care. Prior outpatient or clinical experience preferred but not required. Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time
