We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker for our Amityville location.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of maintenance service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Performs minor to moderate level plumbing repairs, including issues to sinks, faucets, and toilets. Must know how to snake lines and replace copper & PVC piping.
• Performs minor to moderate‑level electrical repairs, including outlets, breakers, light fixtures, and ballasts. Must be able to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Must be able to repair and replace drywall and paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Must be able to carry out basic carpentry repairs and repair or replace partitions, vanities & cabinetry associated with our facilities.
• Must be able to carry out flooring and tile repairs.
• Examines and diagnoses minor HVAC issues, performing HVAC maintenance or repairs as required (Not a requirement to have experience but a plus).
• Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as required.

Physical Requirements

Walking and being able to lift 50 pounds. Walking around the facility to maintain the building and grounds.

Qualifications

Entry level, High school diploma or GED.

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
