Qualifications

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years of experience with HS Diploma

Must be a US Citizen

Current active IAT II certification (Security+) with related web development Computing Environment (CE) certification(s) to comply with DoD 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements (preferred)

Public Trust Clearance/ or ability to obtain one

Primary work locations in Tacoma, WA, Aurora, CO, San Antonio, TX, and Falls Church, VA. Remote work may be considered in special cases when approved by the customer.

Proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET frameworks.

Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Experience with SharePoint 2016/2019, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft 365 suite.

Familiarity with PowerApps and Power Automate is increasingly important.

Knowledge of REST APIs, client-side object model (CSOM), and server-side object model.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

A proactive and collaborative approach to learning and development.

Desired Skills

Experience working within Military Health environments is a plus

BA/BS degree in and IT or math related field/ or equivalent years of experience preferred

6+ years progressive experience in SharePoint development related job rolespreferred

Peraton is seeking a SharePoint Developer I. This position designs and develops SharePoint sites, creating custom web parts, and implementing workflows. This role requires proficiency in languages like HTML, JavaScript, and C#, as well as a strong understanding of the SharePoint architecture and related Microsoft technologies such as PowerApps and Power Automate. Responsibilities also involve client interaction to gather requirements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the security and maintenance of the SharePoint environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, web parts, master pages, and content types to meet business needs.

Implement custom solutions, workflows, and dashboards, and integrate applications using REST APIs and other techniques.

Work with business users to understand and document requirements, provide technical support, and manage client feedback.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform system maintenance, and ensure the stability and security of the SharePoint environment.

Work with other IT teams, including systems administrators and security officers, to build and maintain a robust SharePoint environment.
