Pride Health is hiring a Overnight Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Miramar, FL 33025. This is a 06 months-1 year assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Overnight Lab Assistant
Location: Miramar, FL 33025
Pay Range: 19.78/hr. on W2
Schedule: 8p-430a Mon-Fri// 10p-630a Mon-Fri// 11p-730a Mon-Fri
Duration: 06 months-1 year with possible extensions
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
- Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
- Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
- Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
