Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Inpatient Hospital

About RCPC RCPC is a psychiatric hospital exclusively for children and adolescents ages 11–18 from the Hudson Valley Region. Located in Orangeburg, NY, RCPC provides an intensive, family-based inpatient psychiatric treatment program with the goal of returning children to their families with minimal disruption.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and patient admissions
Create treatment plans including medication management
Obtain and review appropriate laboratory tests and consult with members of the treatment team as needed
Supervise Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows from NYU
Attend NYU Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds

Minimum Qualifications
Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
Psychiatrist 2 Children & Youth: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN, and certification in child and adolescent psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
