Production Supervisor (Third Shift)

Responsibilities
Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the shift, ensuring safety, quality, production, cost, and on‑time delivery objectives are met.
Communicate performance expectations to shift workers and supervise daily production activities.
Lead and coach employees to meet safety, quality, production, and other key performance indicators.
Enforce plant safety regulations and encourage a safety‑conscious culture.
Build relationships with internal departments to produce a superior product.
Help build a world‑class team and train your successor as you advance your WestRock career.
Monitor and participate in Daily Management Systems (DMS) to track progress against production goals and enable performance excellence.
Sustain productivity levels by properly staffing line production and equipment to meet customer demands and align any last‑minute scheduling changes.
Ensure SQF/food packaging safety compliance.

What You Need To Succeed
2+ years of supervisory experience in a printing or paperboard / packaging manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Ability to be an on‑shift resource for printing troubleshooting problems is highly desired.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery; folding carton or food service packaging is a plus.
Strong focus on safety and quality (SQF knowledge is a plus).
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word; ability to learn new software applications.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Proven successful track record in managing, motivating, and building teams.
College degree is preferred.
