AE - Selling Team Leader (Assistant Manager)
American Eagle Outfitters Inc. Join us as a full‑time Selling Team Leader. As the Store Team Leader’s "go‑to," you will develop and implement the business strategy and lead the daily operations of the store, training and coaching your team into high‑performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience.
Responsibilities
Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and sales floor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience; analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
Motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values; hold the team accountable to customer service standards, especially on the sales floor and in the fitting room.
Recruit, hire, and develop strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs; provide ongoing coaching and performance reviews.
Build and maintain visual standards throughout every zone in the store, ensuring fitting rooms are always guest‑ready and embody AEO brand standards.
Maintain store safety and asset‑protection standards and consistently adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience leading retail teams in a management role.
Strong multitasking, attention to detail, priority‑setting, and time‑management skills.
Ability to lead and develop teams and a general understanding of employment law.
Business acumen and flexible availability to work when the guest shops.
