Job Definition Work with the CN Guidance Youth ACT Team to deliver services to individuals who are diagnosed with severe mental illness and whose needs have not been met by more traditional service delivery approaches.
Educational Requirements GED or high school diploma required. College or business school degree preferred.
Experience Required Strong administrative skills. Experience working in a mental health setting and/or an office setting preferred.
Additional Requirements Current New York State Driver's License Clean DMV Record Proof of Motor Vehicle Insurance
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage medical records, operate and coordinate the management information system, maintain accounting and budget records for recipient and program expenditures.
Understand, oversee and report on all office procedures; orient new staff on proper office procedures.
Perform reception activities (e.g., triage calls and coordinate communication between the program and recipients).
Overall responsibility for program administrative duties, including, but not limited to, processing new hire paperwork, clerical and office operations, ordering office supplies and scheduling vehicle maintenance.
Work closely with administrative staff on budget management, purchasing, time and leave management and human resources functions.
Coordinate quality improvement and utilization review activities, including data collection, analysis of outcome trends, and identification of service provision needs.
Oversee staff schedules, in‑office and outside staff appointments, sign‑in/sign‑out boards.
Oversee all external agency correspondence for accuracy, appropriateness and responsiveness.
Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals.
Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed.
Cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views and experiences.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following established safety guidelines.
