Position: Transportation Engineer in Training
Location: Kansas City office
Essential Job Functions
Assist in development of Roadway Design plans and contract documents.
Work independently while interacting well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
Will gain experience in business development / marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
Demonstrate high degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
Show proven teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
Comfortable managing and developing business client relationships.
Exhibit excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school.
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain.
0–3 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.
Experience with federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects.
Experience with Microstation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

$66,000 - $93,000
