The Senior Branch Manager leads the sales performance and service quality of an assigned branch. This role provides guidance and coaching to branch staff, supports regional retail managers, and ensures branch profitability through deposits, loans, fee‑based services, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Represent the Bank’s goals, values, and standards of conduct; motivate branch colleagues and managers to maximize productivity and achieve sales and service objectives. Achieve and exceed annual revenues, sales, and client satisfaction targets while minimizing operational losses. Lead by example and hold staff accountable for meeting or exceeding the Bank’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Golden Rules of Service. Demonstrate servant‑style leadership; create a caring place to work that attracts, grows, and retains the right people. Provide positive leadership and effective communication; empower managers and staff to reach their maximum potential. Coaching and performance measurement: develop action plans and strategies to enhance sales and service performance where necessary. Ensure the branch team delivers the highest level of client service and proactively expands client relationships to maximize retention, growth, and profitability. Assist Regional Retail Managers with coaching, skill development, technical support, and risk‑based decision making. Identify referral opportunities and schedule joint business development calls with existing and prospective clients. Retain staff through positive employee relations; minimize turnover and motivate increased performance and positive morale. Evaluate performance consistently; provide positive interactive coaching and prepare formal written evaluations with specific action plans. Resolve complex problems for colleagues and clients; exercise independent judgment to help complex transactions and resolve client relation problems. Facilitate branch colleague and sales meetings, including recognition, selection, and presentation of pertinent topics. Actively participate in sales development program; conduct sales calls and administrative support activities. Perform other assigned duties as required. Client Relations & Sales
Enhance the client experience by greeting and engaging clients with superior service; participate in the Bank’s sales development program and generate sales leads. Grow the branch’s loan and deposit portfolios; build, maintain, and grow client relationships through various communication channels. Coach staff to engage in consultative conversations with prospective and existing clients; tailor recommendations and solutions. Align client expectations with the Bank’s capabilities to achieve desired outcomes; adapt to meet changing client needs. Develop strong relationships with other Bank colleagues to introduce clients to specialists who can assist with specific financial needs. Demonstrate strong knowledge in consumer lending and operational background; open new accounts through the Platform system. Qualifications
Minimum of seven years management experience in retail banking. Minimum of five years of previous sales management experience in a supervisory role in a proactive sales/service culture. Education
High School graduate required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; or commensurate level of combined work experience and education in business finance, accounting or similar capacity. Other Requirements
Assist as the Bank’s Assistant Security Officer in a region, responding to robbery and following robbery procedures. Participate in community affairs to increase the Bank’s visibility and enhance new business opportunities. Excellent interpersonal skills; motivate and work with a diverse group of people. Excellent supervisory skills; handle people and situations positively and effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proven sales track record with a results‑oriented personality and professional appearance. High level of employment law knowledge (discipline, FMLA, and related regulations). High level of problem‑solving skills; take responsibility and risk to resolve situations reflecting commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
