Job Details
The employees in this position are responsible for:
* Supporting a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line * The operation will include set up, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all components, and the development of proper processing parameters during operation to optimize line speeds and yields * Safe operation of forklifts to transport materials to workstations. * Ensure proper quality review of the product on workstations assigned. * Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect work area or company property. * Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED * Prior experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production highly desirable * Prior forklift certification and experience. * Ability to read and write English * Good verbal communications skills * Understanding of how to use a touchscreen (PLC) production line * Ability to learn and understand technology associated with plastics processing
Physical Requirements
* Adequate vision * Ability to lift 50 pounds * Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures * Stoop, kneel, crawl, climb Stand and walk for the majority of an 12 and 8 hour shifts * Ability to climb stairs * Ability and willingness to work overtime if required * Availability and willingness to cover any shift with prior notification
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
* Mon, Tues, Wed, and every other Thursday from 6pm-6am (20% shift differential, must be able to train on days)
