Job Title: Data Analyst IV

Location: Onsite: Menlo Park, CA

Duration: 6 Months


We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in advanced data analysis, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain KPI dashboards. Additionally, our client is someone who has a passion for diving deep to understand where and how there are opportunities within our processes to improve performance and reduce waste. This individual has a demonstrated ability to leverage large data sets and advanced tooling. They also will have strong analytical & investigative skills and should be comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data dashboards and solutions that help the team and leadership make data driven analytical decisions tailored to improve the business.
  • Utilize AI tools to help automate routine analysis and scale solutions.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical analysis to formulate deep-level insights that help identify trends & opportunities to drive growth of our business, and measure impact.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets.
  • Partner with Operations Project Managers, Data Science, Product teams to solve problems at scale.
  • Inform and execute new strategies and tactics using analysis and impact metrics.
  • Build narrative around data quality and provide insights that will help in better annotation project performance opportunities.
  • Handle relational and non- relational databases, data frames and/or Business Intelligence development, performing data transformations and data manipulation.
  • Leverage appropriate analytical techniques to draw conclusions from structured and unstructured data and answer exploratory and hypothesis-based questions that inform data-driven decisions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field and 5+ years of work experience in an analyst role.
  • Database querying language (SQL) and programming language (Python) for data processing, data analysis and analytics
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards for making business decisions
  • Well-versed in AI prompt engineering and utilizing AI to analyze data
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheet experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functional groups and levels
  • Ability to make judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams, coordinating effectively, and inspiring others


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across time zones and with diverse audiences, including within operations teams and across with key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Perform quantitative and statistical analysis using advanced methodologies, including linear and logistic regression and forecasting models
  • Served as a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and contributed to the team’s direction overall.
