Role Overview
Seeking an experienced
Scrum Master
to drive Agile delivery within a large-scale
SAP S/4HANA digital transformation
at a major utility company. The role supports cross-functional SAP teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, HR, and EHS in a hybrid Agile environment.
Hourly Rate - $85.00/hr on W2 to $95.00/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities Scrum Mastery & Agile Facilitation Serve as a
servant leader
for 12 Agile teams (SAP functional, technical, business). Lead all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective). Promote continuous improvement and empirical delivery. Hybrid Agile Governance Work across Agile + Waterfall structures (e.g., PMO stage gates, RAID logs). Support coordination with Data Migration, Testing, Cutover workstreams. Align team delivery with Program Increment (PI) plans and release timelines. Planning & Coordination Partner with Product Owners, BAs, SI partners, and SAP consultants on backlog prioritization. Facilitate refinement/sizing for user stories, technical tasks, SAP enhancements. Manage risks, blockers, and cross-stream dependencies. Scaled Agile Support Participate in PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and other scaled ceremonies. Synchronize with RTEs, Solution Architects, and other Scrum Masters. Provide Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team health) for dashboards. Tools & Technology Use Jira for backlog and sprint management; Confluence/MS Project for documentation. Apply SAP Activate methodology within Agile workflows. Coordinate with SAP FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, Basis, ABAP, PI/PO teams.
Required Qualifications 5+ years
as a Scrum Master supporting enterprise Agile delivery. Strong experience with
SAP S/4HANA , SuccessFactors, or major ERP (ECC, Oracle, Workday). Deep understanding of
Scrum, Kanban, hybrid Agile , and structured PMO environments. Experience with
SAFe
or scaled Agile frameworks. Strong conflict resolution, facilitation, and coaching capability. Proficiency with
Jira, Confluence, MS Project
(or equivalents). Familiarity with
SAP Activate
and traditional SAP lifecycle phases.
