About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fundraising and Community Engagement. The successful candidate will be tasked with cultivating relationships and increasing financial commitments from existing supporters, as well as inspiring new community members to become significant financial backers. This role is pivotal in growing a strong grassroots movement focused on advocacy and voting. The Executive Director will be responsible for creating and executing a plan to enhance community engagement and revenue, building and sustaining relationships with donors, and meeting fundraising goals. A key aspect of the position is to maintain accurate records and engage community members in various advocacy activities.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 5 years' fundraising experience, with a proven track record of success. Ties to the Jewish community and its schools are essential, as is the ability to pivot quickly, be a highly motivated self-starter, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The role requires a strong commitment to Jewish education and advocacy, the ability to work independently, and a Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, and will be responsible for representing the organization at community events and forums.
