Maintenance Technician

skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician
to join our Facilities Technology team. In this role, you will perform
preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance
to ensure all equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. Shift Details Training:
Candidates will begin on day shift for onboarding and training. Permanent Schedule:
Night shift (5:45 PM
6:00 AM), operating on a
2-2-3 schedule
work two days, off two days, then work three days, alternating every other week. Shift Premium:
Includes a
$2.00/hour night shift premium. Compensation & Growth Starting range:
$29.15$33.15/hour , based on prior industrial maintenance experience. Performance-based step increases
available up to
$36.75/hour top-out
within approximately
618 months. Additional overtime opportunities may be available. Key Responsibilities Perform all maintenance work safely, professionally, and to standard, following all company and regulatory guidelines. Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment. Accurately document all maintenance activities in the companys maintenance management system. Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and workplace organization. Collaborate with operations, quality, and EHS teams to maintain optimal plant performance. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining tasks as needed. Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and PLC systems to identify and resolve equipment issues. Execute other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a 2-year accredited Industrial Maintenance Certification program preferred. Experience Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or completion of an equivalent technical program. Skills & Knowledge Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Working knowledge of PLC systems, CMMS software, and industrial controls. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of production processes, quality standards, and equipment reliability practices. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted). Ability to work at heights (10+ feet), in confined spaces, and in temperature-variable environments (warm or cold). Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for success in this role.
