Call Response Time: 30 mins
Call Ratio: 1:3
Call Back %: 80%
Avg Call per 24 Hr: Phone Consults: 5-7
Avg Call per 24 Hr: Patients Seen: 2-4
Avg Call per 24 Hr: Admissions: 2-4
Expect 9-10 call days per month starting Friday noon to Monday 7 AM
Requirements:
Board Certified (AR)
Texas License
Certifications: BLS, NRP
Credentialing: 30-45 days
Required Skills:
Low-risk pregnancy
FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
OB Ultrasounds: Level I/Screening
Amniocentesis
Routine Delivery: Vaginal, Low forceps, C-section decision-making
Complicated Delivery: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Surgical Gynecology: Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor - tubal ligation, LOA's
Surgical Gynecology: Operative/major - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy
Assignment Details:
Trauma Level: 4
Support Staff: 3-4 RNs
Patients per Shift: 2-4
Beds in Department: 8
Average Deliveries per Year: 630
