Vice President – Regulatory Reporting (Jersey City, NJ)

Responsibilities
Conduct analytical research, data gathering and calculations to support regulatory reporting and data submissions
Interface with internal stakeholders and build a broad range of knowledge spanning finance, treasury and operations across the organization and its varied products/services
Develop, maintain, enhance and validate regulatory reporting processes ensuring compliance with applicable banking regulations
Extract, analyze and interpret large datasets for reporting accuracy and insights
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline reporting workflows and improve data quality
Participate in certain aspects of customer reserve (15c3‑3) and net capital (15c3‑1) computations and supplemental FINRA reporting for the broker‑dealer
Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to reporting frameworks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline such as Accounting or Finance
5‑7 years of broker‑dealer regulatory reporting experience preferred
Knowledge of Bank & Broker‑Dealer regulatory reporting including but not limited to: Treasury International Capital (TIC), Basel III, FR‑Y9C, FFIEC 101, Deposit Reporting, LCR/FR 2052a, FR Y14Q, FR Y15, 15c3‑3 and 15c3‑1 regulations and report instructions preferred
Strict attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines, demonstrate risk awareness and escalation when appropriate
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent technical and effective communication skills
Salary and Benefits Base salary: $68,000 – $179,000 per year (at commencement of employment). Compensation will be determined on an individual basis and is only part of the total package, which may include commission, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
