Job Summary Labor & Delivery Nurse
– Glendale Memorial Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health (Catholic Health Initiatives & Dignity Health). You will guide patients through labor and childbirth with a focus on safety, compassion, and quality care.
Responsibilities
Triage walk‑ins to determine labor status, water burst or false alarm.
Support pregnant patients during labor, including induction, epidural assistance, pain management, and fetal monitoring.
Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections, tubal ligations, cerclage and emergency procedures.
Educate patients on interventions and medications, labor stages, and postpartum care.
Assess and provide initial care for newborns.
Communicate with the care team and patients’ families regarding progress and updates.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 months of acute care experience in labor and delivery (1 year preferred).
Valid California RN license.
Basic Fetal Monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS certifications required.
Minimum education required for licensure.

Pay Range $53.66 – $72.87 per hour.
