Role Summary The Back End Engineer role focuses on building scalable, secure, and efficient server-side systems that power Assistlys AI-driven senior care platform. Youll work on the logic, data pipelines, and integrations that enable intelligent workflows for facilities and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain server-side services and APIs. Design and implement data models and database structures (SQL/NoSQL). Build integrations with internal systems and third-party applications. Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability. Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare standards. Collaborate with AI, product, and front-end teams to enable seamless end-to-end functionality.
Qualifications Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Strong coding experience in
Python, Java, or Node.js . Experience with frameworks like
Django, Flask, Express, or Spring Boot . Understanding of
REST APIs, cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) , and microservice architecture. Strong grasp of security principles and data protection best practices.
