Our client, a New Jersey based hedge fund, is a leading provider of quantitative equity strategies for institutional clients with a prestigious global roster of corporate pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, foundations, and sub-advised funds. An experienced C# Developer with finance industry experience will help build and maintain application systems that support Back Office business operations.
Responsibilities Partner with Accounting, Compliance, and Settlement on how best to use the technology platform to optimize the business processes. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements Back end C# design and development to incorporate new features and enhancements to Advent Geneva and workflow management applications Work closely with the development team to incorporate additional data feeds, and design and develop visual workflows Demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality: provide testing of the Build scripts and utility tools to help the development team, as needed
Requirements Masters degree required. Engineering/Computer Science preferred 5-10+ years of in-depth back end C# and .NET programming 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry Expertise in buy side, back office regulatory or compliance applications, or fund accounting software Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Able to deliver product enhancements on time with quality in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills
Compensation is a $200K-$225K salary plus bones.
