Registered Pharmacist
to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a collaborative hospital environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring patient safety, optimizing therapeutic outcomes, and supporting excellence across all aspects of pharmacy operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
Review and verify patient medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness according to hospital and pharmacy policies.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
Educate patients and staff on medication use, safety, and side effects.
Participate in infection control, quality improvement, and risk management programs.
Provide oversight and direction to Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Transporters.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, infection control standards, and departmental procedures.
Support hospital initiatives through participation in projects, in-services, and continuing education.
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and commitment to patient care and departmental excellence.
What You’ll Need
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (minimum of BS in Pharmacy).
Active New York pharmacist license (required).
Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge and pharmaceutical calculation proficiency.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
