Our client, an apparel manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team in Secaucus, NJ!
Responsibilities:
- Manage factory communication and negotiations
- Setup and maintain cost sheets
- Monitor WIP reports
- Develop and maintain production calendar to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure quality control
- Develop purchase orders
- Track and receive shipments
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience in production
- Strong knowledge in wholesale apparel
- Prior experience working with big box retailers such as Costco is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Impeccable time management skills with great sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Bachelors in design or related field
